Construction

Using the cross braiding system, K49 is manufactured from a PTFE yarn with non-migratory graphite impregnation. The combination of the PTFE and graphite provides both effective lubrication and thermal conductivity.

K54S/F/H

Construction

Using the KLINGER®-Lock cross braiding system, K54 is manufactured from virgin PTFE yarn and PTFE lubricant. Additional lubrication is optional depending on the process requirements.

Services

An excellent choice for plant wide use especially when a clean, non-contaminating packing is required with a very high degree of chemical resistance. Can be used in virtually all media including strong acids and alkalis. K54 is supplied as 3 options:
  • 54F - Oxygen service
  • 54S - Food grade
  • 54H - Chemical process
