PTFE Plastics

PTFE Plastics

PTFE Plastics, Polytetrafluoroethylene, is excellent as a construction material in the chemical industry. PTFE is resistant to nearly all chemicals and only susceptible to chlorine trifluoride, elementary fluoride and melted alkali metals, furthermore PTFE will not swell or dissolve in any common organic or inorganic solvent even at elevated temperatures. As a result of its non-stick properties and low co-efficient of friction no substance will stick to PTFE unless chemically treated.
